The Tunnels of Moose Jaw
The Tunnels of Moose Jaw are comprised of Al Capone's tunnels and the Chinese tunnels. After the railway was built the Chinese migrated from BC. When they arrived in Moose Jaw the town passed a law that forbid them from walking in the streets, so they lived underground. Thomas Watchman was so appalled at the conditions he took one family, set them up in business (laundry as it the only thing the man knew) in Avonlea.
